Helen offers Pilates sessions to cater for all levels both on the mat and using unique Pilates apparatus. Helen will design and lead bespoke sessions for those who need undivided attention in order to address specific needs. Helen maintains close links with physiotherapists, physical therapists and trainers to ensure the best possible outcome for those dealing with injuries and limitations. Contact Helen to discuss your requirements, especially if you are interested in attending private or semi-private sessions.
COMMUNITY classes
Hamblin Hall, Bosham, West Sussex £12 per class
TUESDAYS 4-5PM
This is a group strength and conditioning class programmed to help those who need balance training, specific core strengthening exercises and movement to improve the flexibility of the spine and hips. Helen will also focus on general mobilisations to give you that overall feeling of wellness.
THURSDAYS 12.45-1.45PM
This is a group session designed to target the important postural muscles through the back and shoulders along with hip strengthening exercises to assist with balance. Helen will incorporate much needed stretches to allow you to leave the class feeling taller and more stable.
The WOW Clinic, Westbourne, West Sussex £15 per class
WEDNESDAYS 5-6PM
Helen leads a small group class designed to give you a comprehensive experience of the Pilates method. Each session will challenge you to find new ways to move your body safely and effectively. Each exercise you perform will leave you feeling more active, more lengthened and energised.
Helen's community based classes are presented with a genuine warmth to allow participants to feel welcome and comfortable. This allows everyone to feel a valued part of the Pilates community. At the end of each session clients leave feeling more energised with a greater sense of wellbeing.
PRIVATE PILATES SESSIONS IN HELEN'S HOME STUDIO

ZOOM PILATES
WEDNESDAYS 9.30-10.30AM
This is a class designed for those with Pilates experience and not suitable for those with injury. Helen will lead you through various flow sequences aimed at targeting the deep abdominals, glutes, spine and the shoulder girdle. The exercises are designed to increase joint stability along with mobility work to increase flexibility.

By signing up to participate in any Pilatesmatters class you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions set out below. Please note that if joining via ZOOM your viewing device will need to be connected to the internet via a reliable broadband, Wi-fi or mobile data connection in order to view our streaming classes. You will need to download the ZOOM software at www.zoom.us
Before beginning your exercise programme you must notify your instructor if you have any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions which may impact on your ability to perform the exercises. By undertaking any exercise programme you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk and that the instructors will not be liable for any personal injury caused as a result of, or in connection with any such exercise programme undertaken.
To reduce the risk of injury please ensure you wear appropriate sports clothing and remove all dangling jewellery. Please consult your doctor before beginning any new exercise programme. If you are a new client to Pilatesmatters you must complete a Medical Questionnaire and Client Agreement before starting any class.
Payment: All classes must be paid for before the session begins. This will reserve the time and space you have booked and also help you to commit to your training goals. Please be connected and ready 5 minutes prior to the start of your class.
